Meet the Author

John S. Olsen is a Midwesterner. He was born in Chicago, Illinois, on March 4, 1921, just as Warren G. Harding was being inaugurated as President of the United States. John was the only child of mid-life parents.

Reared with integrity and morality, he accepted Christ at the age of 18. Most notable of three careers was at Hyles-Anderson College for over 30 years as Assistant to the President/Campus Host.

Mr. Olsen makes no pretense of being somewhat talented or spectacular. He claims to be a very ordinary person whom God has blessed with many unusual answers to prayer. At least three of his vocational superiors down through the years proclaimed that Mr. Olsen "had a way with words" in his writing.
